How much water do Homeward Bath steam showers use?

Conserving water use is one of the most important things a household can do in an effort to Go Green. 75% of the water used in our homes comes from bathroom showers, toilets and sinks. At Homeward Bath going Green means adding luxury. 11 liters of water are used per minute in a regular shower. A 17 minute shower therefore uses about 187 liters of water (or around 50 gallons of water). When using a Homeward Bath steam shower, a 12 minute steam followed by a 5 minute shower (at 11 liters per minute) only uses a total of 55 liters (or around 14.5 gallons). This saves you more than 2/3 the amount of water you would have used in a regular shower.
